Lost my special little guy Ponyo, fuzzy bunny extraordinaire.
Having a hard time handling it along with the loss of a friend last month so sorry for the lack of posting.
I’ll be more active next week and post some commissions I’ve finished and some more fanart I’ve done and such.
Thanks for sticking with me, you guys are patient and awesome.
I’m a big dumbutt and this poop right here is what happens when I can’t sleep.
Doodling in between inking commissions.
Lost a friend this month, hence the lack of updates.
A Nancy doodle for a Dancey Noodle.
Little tartan Batman. <3
Phone camera killed this. I need a scanner.
I can’t believe you’re no longer with us….
Rest in peace Nancy you will be missed from this world.
I saw you so recently. This feels so nasty. :’<
The world’s lack of happy noodle will be noticed, and then some.
Funky Fresh Babby Garnet.
So a lil’ Garnet is happening.
I love her so much but all I’ve drawn is Pearlmethyst.
Sorry bby. ILY.
I’ll colour this in the morning when my back isn’t slowly growing an awful awful reverse 6 pack from the tension of drawing on my bed hunched next to a lamp.
undeadmaiden asked: You're art is really amazing I must be hard and worth it to maintain such good art also what inspires you to draw and what things help you when your having difficult time drawing?
Argh you flatter me. <3 Thank you so much, I’m really glad you enjoy it.
n__n It’s not really been something I’ve found difficult because I’ve been drawing for so long, and it was really more of a stress reliever when I was young, so it just sort of naturally became something I just can’t not do.
As for worth it, on a personal level the calm and enjoyment I get out of drawing is something I couldn’t live without. Having something I can do that can make other people happy is really really important to me, too.
When I have trouble drawing in general, I find listening to music, browsing artists’ blogs that I admire and trying to see things in the world as something other than they are really helps.
Don’t try to force it, that’ll stress you out, and then your art will show that stress and you won’t like the result. Instead take a break from it and try to get a feel for what you want other people to feel when they look at your pictures, then just let it out.
Also doodling. Seriously, don’t go into every picture with a plan and get frustrated when it doesn’t go right.
Sometimes you just gotta draw silly, derpy, occasionally just downright AWFUL junk that has no rhyme or reason, for yourself.
Draw random shapes on a page and then turn them into things. For me it’s usually animals and monsters. It’s a good between-pictures palette cleanser.
Anonymous asked: can you please tag your Steven universe ship as something other than gemshipping, because gemshipping is the ship name for the thief king and ryou bakura from yugioh, thank you :)
Oh gosh, sorry about that. Should be all good now.
undeadmaiden asked: So where can you buy those tools? Online? Or any store?
I ordered most of my Letraset markers on Amazon with Christmas and birthday vouchers (I struck it lucky last year Amazon wise. It pays to be awkward to shop for xD), along with my newest pigment markers for inking.
My marker choice - My ink pen choice
You can buy them in art supply shops like Clarke’s stationers too but buying the pens singularly can be a real drain on your wallet.
Most of my cards and things come from WHSmiths and Clarke’s (the latter tend to carry higher GSMs but cost a bit more).
I don’t really use anything special that can’t be found in most UK art shops, I’m not sure about other places though I’m afraid.
To be honest I spent the last year amassing my letrasets (58 of them now), and whenever I have money I’m one of those dorks who buys art stuff instead of, you know, nice clothes and things. xD I’m just a hoarder!
A hoarder in oversized combats with the belt loops tied together at the sides to keep them up. LOL.
I prefer softer watercolour pencils so I tend to go for things like Faber-Castell and Caran D’ache because they layer smoothly over markers and can be gently blended without much problem. I usually pick those up in Smiths because they seem to have sales on the tins when I head out. xD
It’s like they know I’m coming.
Sorry I’m not that helpful, I just seem to end up with things ‘cause art stuff gets me all excited. :0
undeadmaiden asked: What tools do you use for traditional art?
Awh, thank you so much for the messages xD You are so sweet omg. <3
I work on high white, ultra smooth finish 290 GSM card with Mechanical pencils, pigment markers like Mitsubishi fineliners and Faber-Castell PITT markers for inking, and a mixture of Letraset Promarkers (flats and base shading), watercolour pencils (blush, lighting, extra shading) and Gel pens (reflections, shine, and bold coloured linework). For the most part, anyway, haha. I’ve been known to use chalk pastels sometimes for detail in extra soft pictures as well. : 3
Commission time! *fanfare*
Some of you know already that I’m stuck in a wheelchair this year
(Was born with Talipes and then got trapped down a lift shaft at the hotel I worked at so had a bunch of foot surgeries and metal shoved in there and such).
It means I have a lot of time on my hands, stuck in my room, but no money. I’ve moved back in with my Mamu and sisters for the recovery but it’s cramped, and my Mamu has been paying for a lot of things like rabbit food and travel to the hospital and such. She’s moved into the living room with one of my sisters for me, even.
Obviously I’m not too happy with this given that she’s looking after me already so…
If you fancy some art, know somebody who would, or just don’t mind giving me a reblog so I can get out of my rut a little and be more independent again here’s some info for you guys. <3
Orders will be shipped to you, free of charge, safely in a plastic protector and with an extra card to keep it stiff and dent-free during postage. I will also write and doodle you something as thanks for ordering from me on the card. <3
All orders are drawn on high GSM card with an ultra smooth finish as standard. High white, but you can also choose the Ivory in a slightly lower GSM if bright whites aren’t your thing.
I’ll be using Paypal to accept payments, but other methods can also be arranged if you do not have access to such things. This may delay your order though, especially if you want to send cash moneys.
Pricing is set but negotiations can be made if a particularly large or particularly complicated piece is something you’re looking for. Just sling me a message. (email@example.com)
Sketch - £5
Inks - £10
Colour - £20
Sketch - £10
Lines - £20

Pokemon Team - £40
(The preview for this lacks detail as I wasn’t with all my equipment. The finished piece will resemble the hooping girl in my A4 colour preview detail-wise)
If you would like to order something, please Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org If you have any questions or would just like to chat though, feel free to message me here. : 3
I will draw you pretty much anything that isn’t obviously offensive (I do not find nudity offensive, order all the nudity you like yo)
But things like Adventure time and Steven Universe fanart and such get my juices flowing, you know.
So if you happen to be ordering that don’t be too surprised if you get a whole buttload of extra sketches and doodles arrive with your order.
Thank you so much for reading this far, I know it’s a behemoth of a post.
It is like my love for you. LIKE A TRUCK. BERSERKER.
All the snugs for you guys. <3
I love your faces. x
Quick little A5 majigger of Marcy and Peebles having a sticky sleepover.
Some of you crazy cats were wondering what my desk and workstation looked like.

I draw on my bed.
Wow. Much organise. So bed. Very back pain.
Sneaky Marcelline art card preview in there. EXCITING.
